Toward the world of the joyous life
Tenrikyo is based on the teachings of God the Parent, who created humankind and the world.
On October 26,1838, God the Parent revealed the thigh about creation through Miki Nakayama , whom we call Oyasama , our “be-loved Parent.

We can Live the Joyous Life in This World
Long ago, God the Parent thought of creating the world and human beings so as to see us live the joyous life and to share in our joy.
The Joyous Life is a state where God the Parent and human beings, who are God‘s children, dwell in joyous harmony.
It is for the purpose of our Joyous Life that God the Parent is making all the gifts of nature available to us .
For the same purpose, God the Parent lends a body to each of us.
A sense of gratitude for these blessings of God the Parent guides us in using nature’s gifts and the body, which is on loan from God, as we work to build the world of the Joyous Life.
The reason Tsukihi began human being was the desire to see you lead a joyous life.
