As a child, I was silent. This is probably why I had many friends.
For many years I have been saving "my stories". But I didn’t know how to express my thoughts coherently enough. This is probably why I studied to be a teacher for a long time.
Without becoming a teacher, I realized that my stories are not interesting to anyone. Everyone loves to tell their own. And I have fewer friends.
Therefore, I chose the path of creating small useful techniques. And I spent a lot of time on it. Then it turned out that this invention, which I considered mine, is called a "live hack".
What is in front of you reminds the story of my life. All stories are quite "silent", they resemble a draft of future teachers' lectures and, finally, contain a small valuable methodology.

I am for the fact that Memorization is also a profession. Like any profession, memorization must be mastered. How to master? As well as knitting nets. After a person has learned the basic movements, then there is an increase in efficiency and comfort. And so I stopped at specific examples of the process. Once we understand how people improve performance in other areas of activity, we apply this to memorization.
So how can you further improve the efficiency of the knitting process?
A thread. It comes in different qualities. Rather, three qualities. Beautiful, good, and wicked. Knit by all. Because what kind of hang such and have to knit. But if you need to increase comfort, then the thread is bought separately for themselves. There is such a special thread. Soft and durable, not chlorine treated. In my opinion nylon and not the usual cord. When knitting with such a thread, it seems that you are in paradise. Knitting turns into pleasure, the thread glides pleasantly causing an indescribable feeling of bliss in the fingers.
Finding at least similar sensations for the memorization process would be very nice.
I found a comfort zone in which memorization is more enjoyable.
Now it's time to start looking for the components of memorization that look like work with a good thread. How to turn memorization into bliss?
Yes Easy! After all, all methods of memorization are associated with imagination. And in the imagination that it is impossible to create a feeling from, for example, letters as if they, like a thread, create blissful sensations on the fingers?
What did I like about being a shoemaker? A shoemaker's workshop is a place where visitors are not allowed. What if the attacker? The shoemaker's doors are not locked, but no one is particularly torn. There are so many cutting and stabbing objects that it probably does not appear in my thoughts to go there. Maybe that's why I liked it there? Feels safe.
But security alone is not enough. You also need bliss.
Knitting with a good thread ... This is where ... And the letters are not thread? And what they are to the touch, the imagination will tell us.
So, our memorization. Place is a comfort zone. Feelings of "bliss" in the fingers from the text. What else? Waiting for a miracle? Well, yes, when the letters themselves jump to the "correct" places. Such a languid sweet expectation ...
What else? I'm worried about dubbing. How to place sound in the memory zone as well? Let me remind you that we bypassed the sound by turning the text over.
But at first I tried to get around the problem of spontaneous reading by looking not at the lines, but in between. "Contemplation of white silence" ... Sounds good!
Let's try. And yet there were no visual effects anywhere in my created memory zone. Only comfort, bliss and expectation of a miracle. Well, let's add white silence. And let's try to sound the resulting zone. The text is not visible to us. You can't see anything at all ... But the text is there. Rather, waiting for the appearance of the text. Let's feel our text. Here it is, here is the first number "1". Here is the first letter.
Now let's try to return to my original task: memorize the text while reading. Let me remind you that this whole story with the search for memorization methods began in elementary school. I read the tutorials and was very surprised when I could not repeat them. And now I'm looking for how to do it.
I tried it. With dubbing. It seems that the picture does not disappear ... Why? After all, sounds usually replace the image ... Yes, because there is no image! One white background.
But how to read the text? And the text, let me remind you, is not "seen", but "groped".
Let's start reading and memorizing at the same time. Oops! When reading, muscles are clearly tense. How I try to "grab" the text.
Let's try to "grab" first the white background between the lines. Does not work. It is difficult to grab, hook on a white background. For some reason, the letters are more stressful.
Well, back to the dispersion technique again.
Let's try to radically change the approach. Now, while reading (trying to memorize), I practice focusing on the space between the lines trying to achieve dispersion. What am I not taking into account in this? What if the white color of a sheet of paper can be perceived by the body as the blinding light of the Sun? And the eye muscles react with an attempt to squeeze (what they squeeze there), then the nearby muscles are connected, helping, and there is a feeling as if the head was squeezed by a hoop. And in fact, this is an attempt at self-defense ...
So let's try to get back to focusing on the text?
And if you try to spread out over the text? How?
If white is light for the body. That is, something that seems to be moving "towards me". Like the headlights of a car on the road: if I see white headlights, then the car moves "towards me," in my direction.
And how does the body perceive black? Maybe it clings just to the white space, and not to the black?
Imagine that the page is as if empty. And the letters are like an empty space on the page. And "there" a glance freely "passes" into this space. Let's try to look at the text this way? Why not? What if it helps?
It looks like the table is a little easier to read. The look is easier. The look was able to pass through the page without encountering obstacles. Through letters.
And you can stop reading in this way, "hovering" over some word. This was important for me, because usually the text immediately begins to "read". And so the focus is not on the text, but on the passage "through" the text.
An interesting observation emerged along the way. Suppose I am sitting at a computer monitor. What is behind the monitor, I cannot see with my "eyes". I read, I try to look through the letters. But where? What's behind the letters?
I ran an experiment. I tried to look "through" the monitor. Imagination worked. My gaze "skirted" the monitor and "saw" what was behind the monitor. It is clear that this is not seeing with the eyes. These are images from memory in imagination that I saw before the monitor covered this space. That is, I know what is behind the monitor, and my imagination helps to pull out these pictures and put them in their places. Well, he also offers as an option "looking around", as it helps to substantiate the suddenly opened "vision" with a theory close to reality. Or almost close. That is, here the consciousness clings to a certain "common sense" so that what is happening seems as close as possible to your understanding of reality.
It is useful to take an interest in science fiction to push the boundaries of reality. So that consciousness could be more flexible in trying to explain what is happening. That is, my consciousness, trained by fantastic works, fully accepts "looking around". If I were reading textbooks instead of interesting books at school, then explaining vision through a monitor even in my imagination would have been more difficult for me. In any case, this explanation would look more scientific. And the imagination would offer me, for example, a vision through some kind of device.
Let's return to the vision through the letters. Although we, in fact, were not distracted from this topic ... And it seemed that we were distracted? It just seemed ...
What prevents seeing through? In my case, it seems that scientific ideas about how the human eye sees objects seem to have been picked up by me. The idea that the eye sees light reflected from objects. That is, when I look at an object, I believe that I see a stream of light directed into my eyes. I believe what I see? Or see? I think. Because I have such knowledge. But this is not my practice, I do not see the light itself. I convinced myself that it was.
By the way, fraudsters use this "self-persuasion" of people. They show a wad of money. You think that there really is money, but when you come home, you see that there is cut paper. But you convinced yourself that there is money ...
I am not implying that the reflected light vision theory is wrong. But just yesterday people did not know that the Earth is round ...
And there remains the problem of the page with the text, which is not yet amenable to memorization. Once I was convinced of the complexity and practical impracticability of the task. Rather, he convinced himself of the imperfection of his memory. And it would be more correct to say I did not waste time on improvement.
As for the theory of vision ... What if I could convince myself of a theory that would be useful to me? Instead of "reflected light", which distracts me, come up with a more convenient theory. This theory may be fantastic, but if it works ...
Suppose I have some kind of "field". Magnetic, for example, or something else - now talking about something else. Some object has its own "field". The "echo" of the interaction of the fields is perceived by my brain and it forms in my imagination a picture of an idea of an object. And the eyes? The eyes are resting, which is what I need to read.
I tried it. Accidentally started with a page of text on a monitor screen. I got a curious effect: the black text started to "glow". Of course, I thought, this is a purely speculative effect. Isn't the theory of "reflected light" speculative?
That is, the letters now shine. And earlier, according to the theory, there was a white field between the lines. By the way, there was also a speculative effect.
Then I remembered another theory, "in captivity" of which I was. Presumably located ... speculatively ...
Allegedly, the eye itself releases rays. The rays reflect off the object and then fall back into the eye, forming an image there. In my opinion, I even saw a picture in a school textbook.
Perhaps it was then that I began to "emit" rays from my eyes, trying to remember the text of the textbook? It's hard to say ... Or rather, I didn't think about it from this point of view ... I thought that I was straining my neck muscles imitating the effort to remember the text I was reading. Or the teacher's words?
What came first? Reading or listening? That is, I first started trying to remember the teacher's speech at school? Or did I start trying to remember the text I was reading first? What then became a habit? What makes the muscles tense? The sound of the teacher's stern voice, which makes me shudder, press my head into my shoulders and do my best to portray on my face ... but what's on my face - in my whole body there is an intense effort to remember every letter of what was said ... Biting, crushing sounds of the voice ... Loud, hysterical. What voices I just did not hear enough at school ...
What should a teacher do? How to get the attention of slobs? His weapon is his voice. How to enforce discipline? In the absence of a stick.
Now what? Is there a teacher's voice between me and my memory? Rather, my personal reaction to the voice. To be sure, my muscular reaction.
Muscle barrier, wall. How can this wall be destroyed?
Relax? Nice technique, but it works with the result. That is, "after" the muscles have tensed. Plus time for stressing awareness. And you need "while" the voice sounds.
The wall ... Is there a clue here? How to destroy a wall?
Or maybe not destroy, but somehow differently? I built this wall. Trying to protect myself from the unpleasant timbre of the teacher's voice.
Maybe some kind of speculative theory that I applied in my imagination is working here again? So the voice. Oscillation of air, acoustic wave. Let us recall the pictures of the propagation of sound waves from a school textbook. Sound frequency, timbre. Somewhere I have met such tuning knobs ... Timbre adjustment is a knob in the radio receiver. A sound wave causes something to vibrate in the ear ... and it travels along nerves to the brain.
In school, I learned to “mute” the teacher's voice by focusing on something else. That is, connecting the imagination. But the muscle reaction remained.
If you again try to bypass these sound theories with your own theory?
Let's try. Take my field theory. Suppose, just suppose that the transfer of information from person to person during a conversation is carried out not only by voice. However, there are already scientific theories for this. Communication with gestures, facial expressions and even smell. I need my own fantastic theory.
So field communication. I have a field, I am sitting in a lesson. The teacher has a field, he teaches a physics lesson. The vibrations of the fields are superimposed and instead of physics, I understand that I am a bastard. This is what the teacher really wanted to convey to me. He didn't get enough sleep today and in general he doesn't like me. His field informed me of this and I naturally tensed, expecting a blow. And I got it - a psychological blow. Transferred to me already by my field.
Although the mood of the teacher could be guessed by the timbre of the voice, and by facial expressions, and by gestures and even smells. That is, quite scientific.
The next day, this teacher's lesson was doing well. But I tensed anyway, this time trying not to anger him. Now my field conveyed my mood to him and he realized that I was a bastard. Again a psychological blow. And so it became a habit? May be...
Perhaps it was the other way around. I didn't get enough sleep ... and so on.
And until now, even with the word "physics", my muscles immediately react.
It looks like I've found another barrier between me and my memory. Not even by memory, but by whole sections of my activity.
Are these the teachers? It is necessary, of course, to consider the impact of other people on me. But I think that this is mostly my personal speculative link "teacher - subject". Why am I linking a subject and a teacher of that subject? Why is physics closed to me by the personality of a physics teacher, moreover one? Because he himself thought so (that "Physics" is him) - our fields have combined - has this idea penetrated into my field? Maybe ... Or I myself have created this speculative bundle to now enjoy sweet revenge and ignore physics, thereby ignoring the teacher.
One way or another, these bundles will have to be removed. As I come across in my life one or another area of science.
How to clean? I still like the methods for work more than theoretical research.
So there are several ways.
1. Change of personal orientation. Having looked through books on physics, I am amazed
found that there are many other teachers.
2. Forming your opinion.
They may ask: "In physics !? So for this you have to be a physicist !?"
I believe that you can form your opinion even in anecdotes. Not funny? Correct the anecdote to make it funny.
Especially in physics, where theories are often reversed.
But before that, it is not bad to test item 1, otherwise confrontation with a former teacher may reach a new level.
3. Creation of fantastic theories. This is the one I like the most. Gives itself importance. Helps to be a "researcher", overcoming the level of "follower". This is where my fantastic ideas may appear.
4. Field correction. This is one of the fantastic ideas. Even focusing on the concept of "my field" helps to jump out, for example, from suddenly surging emotions - "to control myself". Further, there may be correction techniques.
5. Converting an uncomfortable experience into a comfortable one. Find the positive impact of the event. For example, in this case (with physics) I am very glad that thanks to these events I did not go deep into the study of this science, but spent time on something else - I began to do what I am doing now.
6. Testing yourself for the presence of a psychological complex "annoy the teacher". Becomes a habit. I begin to do bad deeds, acquire "bad" habits. I try to "spoil" the mood of others.
Here, by the way, the probable reason for my strange disregard of physical activity was revealed. This is not physics. Not all evil comes to me from there :).
Again the resonance of the fields is only with another teacher. Physical education.
Here I consider it necessary to note that this is not a "witch hunt". Don't hunt evil and terrible monsters. Teachers here act as ... teachers. I am looking for my personal attitude to the events of my life. And the teacher here is like a beacon, in general in his role. And I am very grateful to the teachers for this. Over the years, I still learn from them.
And the resonance of the fields is a necessity, an integral part of communication. And harmonization of fields is a practice, possibly useful for all participants in communication.
7. Avoiding personal orientation. Formation of an understanding of the subject regardless of the personality of the teacher, scientist, author of the book. This is practically meditation. How to separate Newton's law from the personality of Newton himself?
After I formulated the problem, it became clear how? And it turns out to be easy? After all, this is the dependence of force on mass and speed.

This question has long been brewing among impatient readers in a hurry to get the superpower "supermemory".

I'll tell you what. By linking a law, a principle, a theory to anyone's name, you confuse your nerve cells. Because you think at the same time about the "dependence of force on mass and speed" and a specific person. In nature, an individual "thinks" mainly only about the leader of the pack.
I'll say it differently, so that it doesn't sound so offensive ...
To survive in the pack, you need to constantly be aware of the decisions of the leader. In order not to be punished by this leader. But the most important thing. In order to catch the danger signal in time (approaching a predator, fire, pursuit of prey, conflict within the pack), since all information flows to the leader from the sentinels and from the rest of the pack.

If you keep the image of Newton in your head, then you expect from him not useful information about the structure of Nature, but a signal to escape or divide the spoils. Include survival instincts. And now it is clear what stands between me and the memory. This is the position. More precisely positioning, status. But what if you appoint yourself as a leader? The leader of his memory, his body. In order for me to receive information from the "sentinels of science" - the creators of theories and formulas. And also from the teachers who analyze and report to me the situation in the "jungle of science".
And by the way, who feeds scientists and teachers? Who buys the books? Who pays for the lectures and lessons at the school? Here's another contradiction that confuses your body. You actually support the person, feed, that is, you are the leader. But you literally put it in your head. As an authority in science. Like a leader. And do you want to remember the theory he created?
Here I will make a reservation. And throughout the conversation on this topic I will often stipulate that we are talking about the internal states of a person. That is, you need to become the leader of your body, and not seize power in the classroom or student audience. That is, we are talking about the relationship between myself and my personality. And not about my relationship as a social unit. This is an attempt to remove the barriers between me and my memory. And not a revolution in science with the failure of the foundations.
That is, outwardly, nothing changes for me. I go out to the school board. I declare: "Newton's Law". But to my body (very quietly so that no one except me can hear) I whisper: "the dependence of strength on mass and speed."
So ... Now there is a problem. Another obstacle to my memory.
The leader is in my head. Which distracts from independent thinking, activating the ancient instincts of survival in the pack. Who is he? Who is this mysterious character?

Then freeing the head from the leaders is the path to my memory.
And what about the methods? Here you can apply the technique I once developed for switching between the right and left half of the brain. What for? So it seems obvious ... If someone's image persistently climbs into the head ... And one half of the brain actively participates in figurative thinking ... Now it is clear why this technique is useful here.
Methodology.
Then I continue my research. Let's look at the trigeminal nerve.
The lower jaw vibrates from the "inner" voice. The lower part of the nerve.
Does the top fit the eyes? There are nerves. I believe that there are also resonators to the buccal sinuses.

I discovered this ability for a long time. I'll make a reservation that I do not consider this an ability, I think that all people have it. I grew up in a house with central heating. But once I got into a house with wood heating and was sitting near the stove. It was then that I drew attention to the phenomenon that is commonly called "cheeks are on fire." But then I didn't draw any conclusions.
I drew the conclusion much later. My partner and I were sitting in a cafe. The cafe had a fireplace. My cheeks began to burn. I remembered my feelings near that very wood stove a long time ago, looked at the fireplace and it dawned on me that this was not a reaction to heat. I noticed that when heating a room, people sometimes tend to save heat and do not pay enough attention to the freshness of the air. I always try to equip the house with a fan. And now I am sitting, heating the house with electricity. Which is expensive enough. But firewood is safer. And a powerful exhaust fan is running. All the same, my cheeks are burning. This air loses oxygen on contact with a hot metal surface. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the air is quite high.
So where is the superpower? So the readers have probably cried out already. So I have already told. What you can feel to determine the quality of indoor air. Isn't that enough? Let me remind you that I want to relieve muscle tension. Perhaps this tension arises if, according to my school habit, I stare, listen attentively, feel into the darkness of the imagination, thus trying to extract the text from memory. Because I read this text, pronounced it, held a book in my hands, smelled the smell of typographic paint, bymag and dust.
But what if you try to feel the text with something else. For example, vibrissae (the place where they once were)?
Probably need to distract from the work of the eyes, ears, nose. And tactile sensations if you were holding a book. Or a computer mouse.
That is, relieve tension from the eyes, ears, nose, tactile and others.
In general, what I need.
The cat vibrates its whiskers so as not to stumble upon an obstacle in the dark. That is, a mustache is an active ogan for transmitting vibrations.
What am I passing on with the remainder of the vibrissa? We do not use this organ to define the contours of objects, since we do not emit vibrations.
Or maybe I don’t transfer anything, but only receive it? From your own body. Danger signal. After all, our body is armed with a bunch of sensors for determining the composition of air, according to anatomy. But how does the body get through to consciousness? A signal is sent along the trigeminal nerve to the cheeks. Cheeks burn. This is a danger signal. My body - to me. This is such a language of sensors.
We have lost the habit of this signal, since we live in houses with heating. Rather, we are accustomed to this signal and believe that it should be so. We go into a warm room with a morse, - we feel good, warm. And the body signals that it is not very good - you need to add oxygen.
What else can cheeks do? Rather, what other signals from the body can you feel with your cheeks?

Probably, in terms of pitch, amplification-attenuation of the sound flow. The brain then compares these characteristics with experience and concludes, "They are angry with you."
So, I hasten to inform you about another superpower! Inherent to all people. You just need to pay attention to the signals of the body. And what is this superpower? To be able to distinguish the intonation of the interlocutor? Not quite so ... Although it is also useful. It is important to "feel your cheeks" during the dialogue.

What if my body also sends me a signal that I want to remember? But I don't feel this signal.
What do I have in my asset? "Burning cheeks" and "zhelvak" ...
Stop! And muscle tension when I try to remember something, isn't that a signal?
Let's repeat my school memorization algorithm. I read the text. I want to remember. There is tension in the eyes. Then tension in the cheeks. Bingo! (Or Pachinko?) I received a signal from the body - the body "flex his jaw muscles".
What is my body unhappy with? The fact that I am trying to "see" the text, not remember.
That is, I don't understand how to memorize ... And I try to see instead of memorizing.
But where exactly am I wrong? When I want to remember a person, I ... I tried ... I saw a person. Not like the eyes, of course. Something flashed, I realized that it was he, that person. In more detail, I would not describe it. What is he wearing? Eye color? Nose shape? I don't see the detail.
As an experiment, I tried to recall in detail (or rather see) my acquaintances, some cases from the past. It turned out that I see the big picture, but in the details these pictures are blurred. That is, I saw some details. But not in detail.
A similar picture with the text. I can see the page, but I don't see the details, i.e. the text.
And of course I can't read it.
But what if we train the body to distinguish between details. In my case, these are the letters of the text.
Well, let's try. What's the first letter on the page? Many times I tried to read this page "from memory", but did not bother to mark it.
But a person distinguishes letters while reading. Then my memorization method (in order to see it later) seems to have to start with reading.
Looked at the page. I saw the first letter. Closed the page. Tried to see the first one. letter. See clearly. With features of the font, position on the page.
The picture floated, disappeared. I was distracted by extraneous thoughts. Then he returned to the first letter again.
