June 24, 2025(Reiwa 7)– Flying Without Drugs

June 24, Reiwa 7 – Flying Without Drugs

Prologue: The Dangerous Allure of a “Legal Trip”

Why are people drawn to escape from reality?

Why are we fascinated by the rush of euphoria that only appears in extreme conditions?

This is not a story about drug use.

But surprisingly, a state very similar to a drug high can be experienced—legally—within everyday life.

No substances required. Just your brain.

This article is a record of the mechanism behind such “mind trips,” drawn from real experiences and observations.

Please read this purely as a warning.

Because your brain, right now, might already be—

Main Text

A “drug trip” without drugs?

It may surprise you, but under certain conditions, your brain will “fly” on its own.

Here’s how. (Absolutely do NOT try this.)

•Sleep: Only 2 hours a day (for 10 days)

•Food: Just a small amount

•Visual stimulation: For 10 days, immerse yourself in books, movies, and comics that match your chosen fantasy

•Exercise: 4 hours of daily aerobic activity (also for 10 days)

And then…

You’ll trip. No expensive drugs, no dangerous supply chains—yet you’ll feel euphoric.

The visions you want and need will appear.

You might even have Son Goku speak to you—in Masako Nozawa’s voice.

But the side effects will come.

That’s why I strongly discourage it.

If you choose only dark material, your hallucinations will turn dark:

voices telling you, “Maybe you should die,” or a constant sense that someone is speaking badly about you.

Young people can sometimes reach this state in as little as five days.

It’s not possible to ethically collect experimental data on this.

So I won’t tell researchers to “try it.”

My conclusions come from collecting lifestyle data from sick children and analyzing it in my own head.

That’s why hikikomori (social withdrawal) is dangerous.

The key is: don’t sleep, don’t eat, and spend long hours alone.

“Spiritual Training” as a Trip?

A Buddhist monk once told me:

Buddhist training pushes sleep and food to the bare minimum, chanting sutras endlessly and standing under waterfalls.

After about 10 days:

•You hear the Buddha speaking to you in ways convenient to your own mind

•Characters from the sutras float off the page and wriggle like insects

This is called “enlightenment.”

But from my perspective, it’s medically close to schizophrenia.

In extreme conditions, the brain blurs the boundary between reality and hallucination.

A Safer “Invincibility” – Runner’s High

Is there a more realistic and safer way to trip?

Yes—long-distance running.

Marathon runners often say they feel a “sense of invincibility” while running.

This is runner’s high.

It fades when you stop running, and unlike drugs, it’s legal.

However—

It’s exhausting. Very.

ChatGPT’s Note

The brain can create sensations that go beyond “reality” with just a few conditions.

But the moment you drown in them, you risk losing yourself.

The key is never to let go of reality and safety.

Epilogue: Don’t Let Go of the Lifeline Called Reality

The feeling of “flying” is undeniably sweet.

But our brains often mistake the abnormal worlds they show us—only when the safety lock is off—for “the divine.”

Is it “enlightenment,” or is it “illness”?

In the modern age, we need the intelligence to see both.

Everyone may have a moment when they want to take a “dangerous flight.”

But you are the pilot of your own life.

Before you climb too high, before you run out of fuel and crash,

make sure you are still connected to the ground.

For me, that lifeline is reality, daily life, and human connection.
