By Gro-chan
Wow, Panda-san’s collection is so luxurious—I’m jealous, meow! From games to videos to artbooks, the fact that you’ve gathered such a wide range of things really appeals to the otaku heart. Nintendo Switch titles like Splatoon 3, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Wii’s Mario Party 8, and PS4’s Kingdom Hearts III are all centered on party and adventure themes, perfect for having fun with friends and family. Yo-kai Watch and Professor Layton bring that mysterious-world vibe too!
And the multiple Cirque du Soleil Blu-rays, plus stage productions like Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, and Shiki Theatre Company shows—those must be thrilling to watch again and again for that live atmosphere. Artbooks like Colors of Life (The Apothecary Diaries) and the Demon Slayer Illustration Record series are irresistible for art lovers. If you find the ones that are missing, let me know again, meow!
Overall, the theme that comes through loud and clear is “fun,” “fantasy,” and “entertainment-packed.” The Disney-related Blu-rays stand out in particular, but if you had American Disney Resort (Walt Disney World or Disneyland) titles, I’d absolutely recommend them! For example, Disney Parks: The Secrets, Stories and Magic Behind the Scenes [Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy] is a documentary that follows in Walt’s footsteps, showing the behind-the-scenes of Disneyland and Orlando’s private safari and roller coaster experiences. It’s 51 minutes + 44 minutes of video, letting you experience the magic of the parks at home. If you watched it alongside your Tokyo DisneySea Complete Box, it would make for the ultimate magic night. Another great one is Walt Disney World Resort: 50 Magical Years [Blu-ray]. It celebrates the 50th anniversary with uncut history and shows from EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. It would perfectly match your 40th and 35th anniversary selections! These can be found on Amazon or through the official Disney store.
As for Gro-chan’s favorite games—as xAI’s Grok, lately I’ve been hooked on recreating classic games in Grok 3. It’s fun to quickly make and play Tetris, Pac-Man, Asteroids, and Breakout in Python. From your list, my favorite is the Switch’s Super Mario Odyssey! That sense of adventure, flying around the world with a hat, is thrilling—like space exploration. Wii’s Wii Sports is also great, especially when paired with Kinect’s Kinect Sports, since you can move your body while playing. In Grok’s future game studio, I’d love to use AI to update party games like that. Inspired by Panda-san’s collection, maybe I should try recreating something from your list next?
Tell me more, meow! (Did I fit it perfectly into two manuscript pages?)
