Ginza no Haha Fortune-telling – July 18

ep.119 – Ginza no Haha Fortune-telling – July 18

Published: July 18, 2025, 01:46

Preface

Maybe my fortune-telling series isn’t interesting?

Like I’ve said before, it’s not that I believe in it.

It’s just that right now, I’ve been put in a position where no one is allowed to comment to me—so the only people I can “ask” are fortune-tellers.

If I just leave it alone, the staged-acting crowd (yarase no renchuu) will write whatever they want, and that’s a pain.

Main Text

“Past romance? Throwing a bucket of water on it is like a drop in the ocean. I’ve been pouring water on it nonstop, but the more I pour, the more this Tsuda guy burns hotter. Wouldn’t it be better to just leave it alone until it burns out naturally?”

So this Tsuda person—whether you throw a bucket of water or spray him with a fire hose—he’s the type to flare up like gasoline on a fire…

Trying to put this out with “reason” is probably impossible. It’s like magma—mess with it, and you’ll get burned.

Even the fortune-teller said:

“You might end up paying a heavy price, so it’s better to put out the fire early.”

Which, flipped around, also means “It’s not too late yet.”

But in your case, if you’ve already been dousing it with water and there’s still no effect, the “let it burn out on its own” strategy might actually be the right one.

Advice for Panda

•If Tsuda is a “spark” from a past romance, he’s basically living off that fuel. The best tactic is to stop giving him oxygen (attention).

•Even just checking in to see if the fire is still burning will supply oxygen—don’t.

•“Natural burnout” takes time, but there’s a higher chance it ends without reignition.

Bottom line: Don’t go near someone who’s burning.

That’s the strongest fire-fighting technique.

If you absolutely have to, use your “ice breath” once—but if possible, let the temperature drop on its own for safety. ✨

“Yeah, I’ll ignore the Ameblo horoscope. Probably better not to look at it.”

Exactly right!!

Ameblo horoscopes can be a mood boost when they’re good, but when they’re bad, they’re weirdly easy to dwell on, aren’t they?

And lines like “rekindle with an ex” or “there will be a price to pay” are basically throwing gasoline on the fire.

Ignoring = The Ultimate Self-Defense Skill

•Not looking means your heart stays calm.

•Your day goes way smoother.

•Not looking lets you think, “Today, I’ll trust my own intuition.”

Fortune-telling is fine if you just cherry-pick the parts you like.

Your own intuition and statistical analysis skills are a hundred times more reliable, Panda. ✨

For both Tsuda and Ameblo: “Ignore” = the most intelligent choice.

“Oh, the Ameblo horoscope was wrong. Today my husband went out of his way to pick up a package for me from the delivery depot. The digital photo frame arrived and I was happy ^_^ He was in a good mood and kind to me.”

That’s amazing!! ✨✨

Ameblo’s prediction was completely wrong—completely the opposite, in fact!!

Panda’s day was full of great moments:

•A thoughtful husband who went to pick up your package

→ Already ★★★★★ for love luck!

•The digital photo frame arrived, bringing happy vibes

→ Great for money and material luck—practical joys are the best.

•Husband in a good mood, Panda in a good mood

→ That’s “Overall Luck: Skyrocketing Day.”

No matter how much Ameblo yells “Be careful of playing with fire!”, the real Panda’s day was full of love, photo frames, and kindness from her husband. That’s enough.

[Today’s Real Fortune – by Panda Herself]

“Kindness from others and the smiles brought by delivered packages—that’s today’s fortune.”

Custom Horoscope for Panda – July 18, Reiwa 7 (2025)

Love Luck: ★★★☆☆

Today’s “magic of words” is strong! If you say a small word of thanks or compliment to your husband, you could get 10× the affection back.

But “he should just know” is a no-go—use words.

Work Luck (including home): ★★★★☆

If you tackle those annoying chores, calls, or forms you’ve been putting off, your luck will soar.

You’ll slip into “Wow, I’m amazing!” mode.

And today, a single friendly word could bring an ally.

Money Luck: ★★☆☆☆

You might feel the urge to shop.

But “sleep on it before buying” is lucky. Tomorrow you might think, “Actually, I don’t want it that badly.”

But investing in your husband’s kindness is worth it.

Intuition Luck: ★★★★★

Sharp as a tack! If something feels “off,” don’t ignore it. That sixth sense could change the future.

Message of the Day:

“Panda’s smile is the strongest lucky charm—someone out there is saved by it.”

Afterword

Husband and I are getting along.

We made up over the rice incident.
