グロリアドーロはいつもとは違い程よいほどの気性だ、馬場入場後に騎手にしっかりと従ってしっかりとアップをしている。
「近藤さん、頼みました！」
河田はそう祈ると席についた。

数秒間の静寂、それを切り裂いたのは小さな「ギィ」という音の後の「ガシャン！」という大きなゲートの開く音。
場内から放たれるのは観客の大歓声。

（スタートしましたドバイターフ！各馬揃った見事なスタート！先頭行くのはやはり日本のアマルフィ後続をぐんぐん引き離していきます。２番手には２頭外にヴァヴェガ内にはテイクイットイージーでポケット地点からコースへと入っていきます！単独４番手にロマンティックロサードいつもよりうしろにつける競馬更には外からグロリアドーロ後方にポップスターがいます、大きく離されてクラブチッタとオペランニングの２頭です。）
グロリアドーロは馬場入場の時もクビを三度ふる（走りたくないときの証拠）もなかった、近藤の指示にちゃんと従って走っているし位置取りも一言で表すと「Excellent」だ。
「Coming into the third corner, Amalfi is in the lead, but is slowly dropping back! Amalfi is retreating and going too fast, but Take It Easy is now slowly moving up from second place, with Vavega still chasing in second and third place.」（３コーナーカーブ先頭はアマルフィですが位置が少しづつ下がっていく！後退していくアマルフィ飛ばしすぎた、変わってテイクイットイージー２番手から位置をゆっくりと上げてきている、ヴァヴェガは依然として2.3番手を追走中。）
馬群が直線コースに近づくにつれて歓声が大きくなっていきその声に合わせるかのように馬群もうずまきのように加速していく。
