Welcome to the Raid Battle!
We quickly set up a 10-person raid.
"Alright, let's hurry and conquer up to the 20th floor!"
"I'm with you on that!"
"Who's going to be the leader?"
"I shall take on the role!"
Alexia volunteered.
"Leader, we're counting on you!"
"Leave it to me! First order of business, disband the raid!"
"Huh?"
No, that's the right move!
"With everyone's skills here, I believe we can reach the 20th
floor boss with ease. Going our separate ways will minimize
any potential conflicts, haha!"
"Meet up at the boss's room by 10 PM tonight! Anyone who's
late will be considered a deserter and left behind, so be warned!"
Alexia declared, spreading her arms wide as if giving a
speech.
"Disbanding after all?"
"No, this is the right call! Unlike raids, parties allow us to
distribute SR or higher items after they've been put into the
dedicated storage. Plus, other parties won't know what items we've obtained."
"Well then, let's head to the 19th floor with our party."
"Sounds good."
"Harbel, watch out for that Garcia guy!"
"I know..."
"I've been observing him since the 1st floor, and monsters
just disappear as he walks by, it's like they get erased or
something..."
"I saw it too, honestly, I couldn't tell what he was doing at all..."
"Harbel, your weapons are a knife and a gun?"
"Yeah, but I'm not very good with them yet..."
"How about I give you some training during this trial period?"
"Leon, you were an assassin, right?"
"I can manage with unarmed combat and knives."
"Thank you, I'd really appreciate that."
Harbel bowed to Leon.
He's so honest and a good guy...
"Alright, let's do it when we have some free time."
"Yeah, thanks."
Harbel smiled, looking genuinely happy.
"First, we need to get to the 19th floor by 10 PM!"
"You're right, Clarissa."
"The others seem to have gone ahead."
"Let's get moving!"
From the 11th floor onwards, it's like a maze surrounded by
forest-like trees.
"It'll be even easier to get lost in the dark, let's get through
here quickly!"
"Got it!"
With Leon leading the way, they rushed forward.
"The monsters here aren't much of a threat!"
"It's just that Leon is strong..."
"Around here, let's decide on individual roles and party roles.
Tell me what you can do within the limits of what you can
say."
"I have all attributes and specialize in magic attacks, but I'm
also skilled in close combat."
"I won't lose in a fistfight. I'm non-attribute, but I can use
some magic and I can also use a gun."
"My attributes are darkness, fire, and water. I know basic
magic, and I can also use weakening spells. I can shoot
poison bullets with this gun."
"My attributes are light, wind, and earth. I've mastered the
basics of healing and defensive magic. I can also use
anesthetic and paralysis bullets with my gun."
"My attributes are darkness and fire, and I'm good at fire-
based magic. I'm confident in my ability to run away!"
"Is that something to be proud of?"
"Haha..."
"So, Harbel and Clarissa will be the front line, I and Tact will
support them, and Nell will be in charge of defense and
healing for the front line. I can also use simple healing and
defense magic, so I'll support you."
"As expected of Leon, your instructions are spot on!"
"Anyone can do this much, right?"
Leon is amazing! I admire him.
"Harbel, you're non-attribute? I don't really understand non-attribute very well..."
"Yeah, being non-attribute doesn't mean you don't have any attributes at all. It's more like you can use all attributes up to a high level, so it's like a lower version of all attributes."
"I see, that's why you were able to use Void Shift the other day!"
"That's right."
Leon had a feeling that he and Harbel would get along.
"Harbel, if you're going to use unarmed combat, wouldn't it be
better to use knuckle-type weapons?"
"That's what I'd like to do, but I don't have any right now..."
"Okay, if we come across any knuckle-type weapons, we'll give them to Harbel!"
"Got it."
"Alright, let's start our party's combat training with those
wolves over there!"
Leon pointed to a group of Luna Lycans.
Luna Lycans move in packs and their attacks are coordinated.
"Luna Lycans have a leader. The pack's coordination is all directed by the leader, so once you take out the leader, it's
over!"
"I see."
Leon could probably handle it alone, but he's teaching us to
become stronger, even if just a little...
Four Luna Lycans attacked me all at once.
I channeled the magic of earth into my fist and punched the
ground with all my might.
Fragments of rock slammed into the Lycans, making them
flinch.
On top of that, another large Luna Lycan jumped at me.
I uppercutted the Lycan's jaw.
"Cawin, cawin~!"
During that attack, Clarissa cast an illusion spell on the
Lycans, Nell strengthened my defense and healed me, and
Leon used ice to stop the Lycans I had defeated.
I drew my gun and fired a flaming bullet at the boss Lycan,
setting it ablaze.
"Good coordination! Except for one person..."
Tact didn't know what to do and was wandering around
aimlessly.
"Harbel, what's going on with your fist?"
"Oh, it's coated with rock."
"The power is incredible!"
And so, with everyone except Tact doing what they could, we
made it to the 19th floor.
"The other five seem to have arrived."
"Shall we form a raid then?"
