English version
The Thinking Reed
Geese fly across the autumn sky,
That lady's smile, so bright and spry.
With joy and health, no shadows near,
A light that shone, so pure and clear.
To me, it was a dazzling sight,
An unreachable longing, full of light.
The innocent children, too,
Were reflections of the love in you.
But suddenly, it all fell apart,
You lay in sickness, a heavy heart.
A wandering goose, with cries that fade,
Your soul was dimmed, in shadows stayed.
The thinking reed, too, felt the pain,
So weak, so sad, like falling rain.
