Because of a Viral Warfare
Mako Su was walking slowly down the boulevard near his apartment on 13th Street of Neo-Biscayne. They always enjoyed the views that came from the bay as they let them think more clearly about what life had become since they were woken up from their slumber. Not many people remembered the day that society ended, but a few individuals worldwide started to gain collection of their memories of their previous selves, as well the last things they did before waking up in their new lives.
Chapter One
Kuma Effect
Mako Su was walking slowly down the boulevard near his apartment on 13th Street of Neo-Biscayne. They always enjoyed the views that came from the bay as they let them think more clearly about what life had become since they were woken up from their slumber. Not many people remembered the day that society ended, but a few individuals worldwide started to gain collection of their memories of their previous selves, as well the last things they did before waking up in their new lives.
Mako had fragments of their previous selves, the parts of the world where they were as well the genetic factory located in North Arizona in the year 2110 before their memories were stored in a database. There were 10 genetic factories around the world, only 6 of them were to preserve humanity and the other 4 had the sole purpose to preserve animal and plant life whenever the world was stable again btu also to clone produce, grains and cattle for food since there was not too much space to feed the 5 billion people but with the hope to repopulate forests with biodiversity.
The fragments were bothering them, so whenever they had time they started to work on the memories and publishing them online, as the main goal was to find what happened to humanity on the year 2019 and why there was the necessity to fully keep a record of the genetics to preserve a dying species that was human race.
The last life Mako remembered was a salary woman in the prefecture of Osaka, but it was a big contrast versus the year 2019 where they were a man who was traveling down in Colombia, South America before the world went in chaos, whenever in their life as a man returned to the United States, that person that they were never traveled outside again, but now they were wondering how they were doing the cloning process to keep humanity in different sets of time and which one was the first life that they had? But also how within their memories they could insert a language and relocate them to a new place? They were curious about to find their old family in the new world, to know what bodies they have but also to understand the true meaning of what is to become human as well their own essence.
“What is to be human?” crossed on their head several times while walking and watching the other people probably oblivious, they were hoping someone online would answer to their messages around the forums, but after about a year of trying they were only hoping.
January, 13th 2019, Jonathan Fried was walking down the old city of Cartagena de Indias, it was a magical place where a city that was 400 years old in the Americas was still intact. The smell of the food that were almost everywhere were making him happy that he took the right decision to travel after saving some money and enjoy a small trip around South America.
