次の文章は、埼玉中央総合大学（Saitama Central General University）の自動車サークルに所属する大学生、Kaga Rento, Ichinomiya Masaki, Suzuki Jun, Hosoda Aoto, Michael Tanner, と、その姉の Ichinomiya Maihaの物語です。

It was spring.
Cherry blossoms were still barely＊ alive.
Saitama Central General University was very busy because it was welcome week for new students.
On campus, many students were smiling and giving out flyers＊.
“We are the Railway Research Club＊!”
“We are the Light Music Club＊! Please come to our live show!”
Most clubs were trying to look healthy＊ and friendly.
However, there was one strange place.
Behind Building E, a red Celica＊ was parked.
Kaga Rento closed the hood and looked happy.
Behind him, a handmade flag was moving in the wind.
It said:
S.H.B (Saitama Hashiriya Boys)
The name was very uncool＊.
But the members were serious.

“Yes,” Kaga said.
“We are a car club. Cars are important.”
“Do we need to start the engine?”
“It starts our hearts.”
“You’re stupid.”
Jun put his animal-themed comic books back into the car.
For him, book and cars were both very important.
Then, a black RX-8＊ came with a loud sound.
“I’m late!”
Ichinomiya Masaki shouted.
“If my sister…… Maiha comes, I’m going to die!”
“Oh,She will come,” Kaga said quickly.
Maiha is a fourth-year student.
She was very strict, and everyone in the club was afraid of her.

“Michael, please be quiet.”

But he was not quiet.
Suddenly, a loud voice was heard.
“HEY! STOP IT!”
Maiha was standing there.
Next to her was Akane Shinohara, wearing earphones.
“Don’t make noise here!”
“We’re just idling!”
“That excuse＊ doesn’t work!”
Akane said softly, “It’s spring.”

White smoke came out.
“Fire!”
“The Wi-Fi router＊ is burning!”
Maiha looked at Akane.
Akane took off her earphones and used a fire extinguisher＊.
She did it quickly and calmly＊.
Everything became quiet.
“It was just a dream,” Kaga said.
“It wasn’t,” Maiha answered.

In the evening, the members were drinking canned coffee.
“No new members,” Masaki said.
“But people remember us,” Jun said.
“We were on the school news,” Aoto said.
“The title was ‘Environmental Destruction Club,’” Kaga said.
“Stop.”
Maiha sighed.
“You are really foolish,” she said.
“But not boring,” Akane added.
The red Celica shone in the sunset.
They did not know yet.
One day, they would be called
a legendary but fake street racing club.
