～～～Elliot's Misunderstanding～～～
Time skips to the magic school about 500 years later.
The library of the magic school was a space enveloped in silence and the scent of old books. Elliot was searching for information on cat dragons as he walked through the heavy wooden shelves.
His heart was filled with excitement and curiosity. Ever since he heard about cat dragons in class today, his mind was filled with the legend.
"This is it!" Elliot found a dusty old leather-bound book and picked it up. His hands were trembling with excitement as he turned the pages.
He continued reading about the ritual in which wizards once fused the essence of cats and dragons.
At that moment, the library door opened and the teacher came in. She knew Elliot's enthusiasm, but she didn't expect him to delve so deeply into the matter.
"Elliot, what is that book?" the teacher asked in a calm voice.
"Teacher, this is an ancient text about cat dragons. It contains the secret of how wizards created them!" Elliot replied, unable to contain his excitement.
The teacher smiled as he approached and sat next to Elliot. "That's a wonderful discovery. But their power was dangerous. Cat dragons suffered terrible things at the hands of those who feared their power."
Elliot listened to what the teacher said and traced the pages of the book with his finger. "But, teacher, if we use the power of the cat dragons properly, wouldn't it be good for the world?"
The teacher sighed deeply. "That's a wish that everyone has, but with power there is always responsibility. In the past, that power has gone out of control. That's why we must learn from history and not repeat the same mistakes."
"Encourage yourself," the teacher said as he left the library.
Elliot closed the book, pondering the teacher's words. He resolved to understand the power of the Cat Dragon and find a way to use it properly.
And as a first step, he decided to start by studying this ancient text.
As he turned the page of the text, a mysterious light suddenly appeared before him. It gradually changed shape and became something like an illusion of an old man.
The illusion was staring at Elliot with a look of anguish, sorrow, and even anger on its face. Well, since it was an illusion, it probably wasn't actually staring,
but Elliot felt like it was really there.
Then, slowly, the letters began to scroll one after the other.
"Deep in the sleeping forest,
by the quiet lake,
where the stars point,
rest in peace, dreamer child.
Under the moonlight,
at the roots of the ancient trees whispering,
dreamer child, sleep.
A hidden path opens in the song carried by the wind,
and in the shadow of the distant mountain,
dreamer child, it is time to wake up.
Flowers wet with morning dew form a colorful circle,
and in their center,
dreamer child, a mysterious door lies.
At the tip of the dragon's tail flying in the night sky,
the light of hope leads you,
dreamer child, to a new journey."
This was a lullaby. The lyrics of a common lullaby that everyone knows.
And when the lyrics finished scrolling, the phantom that had been staring at Elliot suddenly began to scream with an angry expression.
It was more like a death cry than a scream. "My name is Oswald. Do not try to dominate the Cat Dragon. Make peace with the Cat Dragon." "My name is Oswald. Do not try to dominate the Cat Dragon. Make peace with the Cat Dragon."
Elliot was overcome with an unknown fear and quickly closed the page of the ancient text.
"What on earth was that... a lullaby... what on earth is reconciliation..." he thought, but he soon became more irritated by the fact that he had been frightened by something he did not know and the embarrassment of having panicked, so he muttered "Damn it" and left the library with an expression that did not understand the meaning.
A few days later
In the silence of the library, Elliot was lost in deep thought. A voice inside him asked from the depths of his heart.
"Can we really protect the world using this power, the power of the Cat Dragon?"
He traced the letters written on the ancient text with his finger, searching for the answer. Then, when he took a breath and closed the book, his eye fell on the author's column.
"Author: Oswald." "That's the name the vision was shouting," Elliot muttered to himself.
What was it? He didn't know.
But now, "I want to use the power of this Cat Dragon to awaken it from its slumber for the people and promote the correct use of magic," Elliot muttered.
Elliot thought he had to find a way to control that power. To prevent it from going out of control like it had in the past. He believed the answer was in these ancient documents.
"I will unravel the secret of the Cat Dragon's sleep and revive it. That is my mission."
What Elliot thought was his mission was a typical misunderstanding of young people. To those who noticed, it may seem embarrassing or painful.
But sometimes it is the misunderstandings of young people that move the times and move the world forward.
~~~Passion vs. Anxiety~~~
Using the power of the Cat Dragon correctly, he acts as a guardian who protects the world. To that end, Elliot continues to study ancient documents.
A few days pass, and Elliot is immersed in his research on the Cat Dragon in the library of the magic school. Ancient documents and magic books are piled up around him.
Outside the window, dusk is approaching, and the sky is beginning to turn orange. The library is quiet, with only the occasional sound of pages turning.
In a dim corner of the library, Elliot frowns in front of the Cat Dragon ancient documents. His eyes jump from letter to letter, but he cannot find a clue to decipher them.
"Why is this document so difficult..." he mutters to himself, but there is only silence around him. His hands got faster with each page he turned, until he let out a small groan, "Ugh!"
However, contrary to his impatience, there was no sign of resignation in his eyes; rather, his passion for his research burned even more.
Elliot frowned as he continued to search for the reason why the Cat Dragon was asleep. But despite his passion for his research, his mind was also filled with anxiety and doubts.
Why was the Cat Dragon still asleep? "If I can't unravel this secret, then my research is just a waste of time..." he thought. This thought only made Elliot feel more anxious and impatient.
