Academia and trouble causes

At the entrance, the academia was average; its building was made of wood, where many students were roaming and chatting with each other.

He then entered a room where one examiner was sitting in a chair, waiting for new students. He glanced at him and asked, "Are you here for enrollment?" Fig nodded.

"Which type, and 20 silver coins for the fees?" he started filling in the paper.

"Fire type, blue flame understanding," he stared and gave the coins.

"Enrollment done, you are assigned to class 1 with top qualifications. Go to floor 3 and enter room 2," his hand passed paper to Fig.

Fig, totally disappointed, was somehow controlling himself. He then went to the room, sat at the last bench, and glanced around. There were 40 students in that room, and he turned his head left and right to check everyone's strength.

He lowered his head and covered his face with his hands. In his mind, only three words were there: 'weak, weak, weak.' He was feeling so embarrassed just sitting with them.

The teacher came, started lecturing, and finished in the afternoon.

"I made a mistake," he shook his head and massaged his temples, questioning his decision. He went to the cafeteria to eat.

He took food, sat in the corner, and took his first bite. "Wow, it sucks," he said, his lip quivering and his hand on his head.

In the evening, sitting on a bench in the park behind the academy, utterly disappointed, he thought, "I'm done. I can't attend another day in this trash academia." He then asked a teacher about the headmaster's room.

The room was filled with documents, and the headmaster was sitting in a chair, checking documents and signing them.

Fig entered the room without knocking on the door, showing no respect.

The headmaster, focused on signing, didn't even glance at him and asked, "Young boy, did any incident happen to you to be in such a hurry?" He was wearing glasses, a white robe, with a black beard and long hair.

"Give me a recommendation letter," he said, his voice filled with confidence, hands in his pockets.

"Hoho, boy, do you think it is that easy to get it?" The headmaster stood up and made eye contact.

"Hey, I am not requesting; I am threatening you to give me it," Fig released his killing intent. The whole kingdom shook, and many people who sensed it started fainting; it was enough to instill fear in them.

Sweating profusely, for the headmaster, it felt like an ancient monster had escaped from a dungeon. "I will give it to you; please stop it," he shouted. His face turned pale, and a cold shiver ran down his back.

Fig stopped. "Okay, hurry up and give it to me and make sure it is for a royal academia above middle tier," he sat on a chair and crossed his legs.

He wiped his sweat, then spoke. "It is impossible."

"What?" He gave a death stare to headmaster.

"No, no, I mean it is impossible for a normal headmaster, but for me, it's possible. I have my long-distance cousin, the vice headmaster in a high-tier empire," he took a breath, then spoke, "the cost will be lots of gold coins."

"It doesn't matter; just tell the price."

"At least 100 gold coins, and the rest will depend on talent." He then used magic to write the recommendation letter.

"Here," he tossed a coin. "An old gold coin; the bank will give you atleast 100 coins in exchange for it."

The headmaster went to another room to contact his cousin using a magic orb and returned half an hour later.

"Congratulations, you are accepted at the royal academia, but he gave you one mission: you have to meet him in 2 months," he handed the letter to Fig.

"How much time does it take to go there?" he demanded.

"At least 6 months. Even with the fastest Mount Griffin, it takes 3 months to reach," he tossed the keychain and stated, "This keychain will point towards him."

Fig caught it. "Thanks, and have a nice day," he made eye contact, then walked out, jumped in the air, and started leaping toward the direction.

The headmaster fell back into his chair; for him, it felt like a disaster had come by. Even though Fig was gone now, his released killing intent left people filled with nightmares.

Traveling a long distance, Fig took breaks every 3 days and cooked food for himself all the time. Throughout the journey, he was worried that this academia would be the same as the previous one, yet he kept hope for a better academia and that the students would at least be somewhat stronger.

One month passed, and Fig was nearing academia. He was somehow excited, and in the next blink, he had arrived at the capital of the high-tier empire called 'Ignis.'

It was a grand, sprawling metropolis where magic towers pierced the sky, the air was filled with dense mana, the streets were made of marble, the market was full of merchants, and armored knights were patrolling everywhere. The students of the famed Ignis Academia hurried to their morning classes.

Fig secretly entered the capital without being caught, thinking it would be a hassle to pass through the gate interrogation.

He then went straight in the direction pointing toward the vice headmaster, and when he saw her, he was slightly shocked.

The vice headmaster was a woman shopping for research materials. She had long black hair and blue eyes and was wearing a royal academia dress.

Fig waited until she finished her shopping, then approached her, "Hello, Vice Headmaster, I have a letter for you," he said, showing her the letter.

She took the letter, read it, and said, "Come with me," as she grabbed Fig's hand to directly take him to her office.

While she was dragging him, Fig quietly followed her. He then saw the grand gates of academia looming ahead of him.
