　言わずと知れたThe Phantom Menaceのもじり。

　１８世紀末の啓蒙主義者F.Nicolai(1773-1811)が霊的現象の虚偽を看破するため肛門に蛭をつけて瀉血することで正気を保ったという逸話をGoetheが揶揄して臀部見霊者（プロクトファンタズミスト）ProktPhantasmistと呼んだ。

　本話登場の彼女は用水路に落ちで蛭に尻を齧られたのを臀部見霊者と自嘲したが、その際ProktPhantasma : Phantom of Anus (en)と言い間違えた。
