王国の広場が静まり返った夜、王子とステイシア、娘は電機蛙やお玉杓子の牟礼との戦いからひと息ついていた。しかし、空気はまだ緊張感に満ち、闇の奥から新たな気配が漂っていた。
「……また来るのか？」王子が剣を握りしめる。
「ええ、何かの前触れね」ステイシアが魔法の盾を再び展開した。
その時、瓦礫の陰から、ふらふらと歩いてくる人物がいた。赤茶色のローブを羽織り、手にはぼろぼろの酒瓶を持っている。目は虚ろで、足取りは不安定。
「……おう……何か面白いことでもあるのかい？」その声にはアルコールの香りが混ざっていた。
「誰だ……？」王子が警戒する。
「ワタシはルビル、かつては……ただの呑んだくれだった魔導士さ」男は自嘲気味に笑い、手にした酒瓶を振るう。しかしその目には、どこか力強い光が宿っている。
「魔導士……？」ステイシアが眉をひそめる。
ルビルは一歩前に進むと、地面に酒瓶を叩きつけた。その瞬間、瓶から蒸気のように光が立ち上り、空気が振動する。酒の香りは光と共鳴し、周囲の瓦礫や影に作用していく。
「な……これは……魔法か？」王子が驚く。
「そうさ。前世では酒に逃げてばかりだったワタシも、ここでは魔導士として覚醒する……暁月の光が俺を呼んだんだ」ルビルは手を広げ、光の円を描く。円の中に、過去に封じられていた魔力が呼び覚まされ、天を裂くほどの力を帯び始める。
「俺の力、使わせてもらうぜ！」ルビルが杖を掲げると、瓦礫の間から湧き出した小さな闇の影たちが一瞬にして消え去る。光の渦が街を包み込み、残留する魔力の乱れを鎮めた。
王子は剣を構え、ステイシアは魔法の盾を再展開する。娘も小さく手を合わせ、父母とルビルの力を少しだけ引き出す。三人と一人の覚醒魔導士が、街を覆う闇に立ち向かう光となった。
「やるじゃねえか……呑んだくれ魔導士」王子が微笑む。
「酒も無駄じゃなかったな……前世の俺の無駄な時間も、こうして光に変わるんだ」ルビルは照れくさそうに笑った。
暁月の夜空に、四つの光が交差する――王子の剣、ステイシアの魔法、娘の微かな光、そしてルビルの覚醒魔力。王国にはまだ試練が待ち受けているが、仲間が増えたことで、戦いの未来に光が射し込んだのだった。

At that time, there was a figure walking from behind the rubble. He is wearing a reddish-brown robe and holding a ragged liquor bottle in his hand. His eyes are empty and his steps are unstable.
"......Oh......Is there anything interesting?" The voice was mixed with the smell of alcohol.

"I'll do it... Drink it, magician," the prince smiles.
"The alcohol wasn't wasted either... My wasted time in my previous life turned into light like this," Leville smiled shyly.
