　アララトの地には、啓典の民に属する様々な主旨を有する民たちが集まった。彼らが慕うのは、物静かな神職(アミール)を務める絵里(エリ)。そこに、幼い佐美(サミ)が預けられた。幼いながら、彼女は絵里(エリ)の後を受け継いだ。
　絵里(エリ)の死とともに、預言の通りにユーフラテスなどの川が全て干上がると、神殿の丘とその周囲とに分かれた戦いが、世界大戦となった。佐美は烏たちとともに旅をはじめた。それは、ラプチュアによって残りの民たちを集めるための旅だった。
　地球が異界となった後、佐美の作り上げた隠れ里に、マリ、ジャスミン、ケンの三人が来た。彼らは外の世界へ、預言に記された「証人」として派遣された。
　In the land of Ararat, people of various backgrounds who belonged to the People of the Book gathered together. The person they admire is Eli, a quiet priest (Amir). Young Sami was left there. Although she was young, she took over from Eli.
　With Eli's death, the Euphrates and other rivers all dried up as predicted, and the battle between the Temple Mount and its surrounding areas became a world war. Sami began her journey with the crows. It was a journey to gather the remaining people through Rapture.
　After Earth became a different world, Mari, Jasmine, and Ken came to the hidden village created by Sami. They were sent to the outside world as "witnesses" written in the prophecy.
