Episode 9 The crew of Osiris
"What a big room!"
The Central Command Post of Osiris is far greater than Commander Akiyama's imagination.
"Because Osiris does not need propulsion equipment, neither a nuclear reactor nor a diesel engine exists."
"So it can afford space."
"Not only the Central Command Post but also the living area are quite large."
The first introduction by General Tanaka is Reina sitting on the right side of the Central Command Post.
"Let me introduce. She is Ensign Reina Senju."
"She is in charge of communication and enemy searching in Osiris."
"Hi Aki, you can just call me Reina."
"Are you really a naval officer?"
"I guess so."
"Tanaka said that I was the Ensign before."
"It's funny to me."
Rear-admiral Tanaka says to Commander Akiyama "You don't think you are talking to a soldier, don't you?"
"She is Ensign, but she is not educated as a soldier."
Commander Akiyama thinks "That's impossible."
He stares at her with surprise.
Reina says "What's wrong? Did you fall in love with me at first sight?"
"No, no, I already have a wife you know..."
"Of course, I was only joking."
"You really are earnest, aren't you?"
Rear-admiral Tanaka says "I'm glad she seemed to like you."
Commander Akiyama thinks "Will I get along with her?"
The introduction of the crew by General Tanaka continues, leaving Commander Akiyama's worry.
"Well, the next crew is her."
Miki has already stood up and is waiting for them.
"I am Miki Yoroi."
"My rank is Ensign."
"It's an honor to meet you, Commander."
Her salute is perfect.
Rear-admiral Tanaka says "She is in charge of defense in Osiris."
"In other words, She is an expert of the Magic Armor."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Akiyama."
He notices suddenly while returning a salute.
"Now I remember, I have heard that there is a genius of Magic Armor who is a female student of Naval Academy."
"After that, the rumor of the female student was not heard at all."
"Ensign Yoroi is probably the genius."
"I have heard the name Yoroi somewhere...Oh!"
Commander Akiyama asks her "Ensign Yoroi, Is Vice-Admiral Yoroi your family?"
"Yes, sir. Vice-Admiral Yoroi is my father."
Rear-admiral Tanaka says "Her father is a famous Vice-Admiral Yoroi as you heard."
"If you tease her, you will be in trouble later."
Rear-admiral Tanaka who finished joking introduce the next crew.
The next crew is the female sergeant who was in the helicopter with Commander Akiyama.
Rear-admiral Tanaka says "I think you already know her, but let me introduce you again."
"She is Chief Petty Officer Kanae Kozakura."
"I'm looking forward to working with you, Commander."
Commander Akiyama has a good feeling for her sincere attitude.
At least, she will be easy to talk better than Reina.
Commander Akiyama says to Kanae "I didn't think you are one of the crews in Osiris."
"I thought you were a clerical job."
"I am in charge of every task except battle in Osiris, so a clerical job is one of my jobs."
"If you have any trouble, please feel free to tell me."
"Thank you."
Commander Akiyama holds out his hand to her.
He is relieved that she is a normal person.
Rear-admiral Tanaka says "Her rank is the lowest in Osiris, but she is called another captain."
"In other words, She is very reliable."
She hurriedly denies it.
"Please don't say that, sir."
"Don't be humble, That's the truth."
"And the last is... Kanae, where is Shiori?"
"She was here a while ago, I think she is the bridge of Osiris."
Around the same time, Shiori is standing on the bridge.
And she looks at the huge body of Osiris silently.
A short time later, she whispers while touching the body softly.
"Osiris, my ship."
As the champion of the North Pacific, Osiris will be the last trump-card to ensure the safety of hundreds of millions of people living in their own countries and allies.
She whispers again "I and Osiris are here for the people."
And she looks back on a matter four years ago.
