153. 人の妻が、他の男と示し合はせ、各々身内（彼女の夫と間男の妻）を殺害したなら、諸共に串刺しとさるべし。
If the wife of one man on account of another man has their mates (her husband and the other man's wife) murdered, both of them shall be impaled.
154. 人が娘との近親相姦犯さば、その場所から放逐さるべし。
If a man be guilty of incest with his daughter, he shall be driven from the place (exiled).
153. both of them shall be impaled:impale は「突き刺す」他に「合わせ紋にする」意味もあるので、キング版は「重ね斬りにする」に近い意味であろう。この点、ハーパー版は impale her としboth of them ではないので、鵜呑みにできない。串刺し刑はワラキアのドラキュラ公が見せしめとして悪名高いが、実際には古くから重罪犯の処刑に用いたようである。
