273. 日雇い人夫雇ふに於ては、正月から5の月（日が長く、より働く4月から8月）までは、銀子にて日給6シェ酬ゆべし。6の月から年末までは、日に5シェ酬ゆべし。
If any one hire a day laborer, he shall pay him from the New Year until the fifth month (April to August, when days are long and the work hard) six gerahs in money per day; from the sixth month to the end of the year he shall give him five gerahs per day.
273. If a man hire a laborer, from the beginning of the year until the fifth month, he shall pay 6 SE of silver per day; from the sixth month until the end of the year he shall pay 5 SE of silver per day.(Harper translation)
274. 何人も、熟練工を雇ふに於ては日給として、[欠] には5シェ、陶芸家には5シェ、仕立屋には5シェ、[欠]シェ、縄綯には4シェ、[欠]シェ、石工には[欠]シェ酬ゆべし。
If any one hire a skilled artizan, he shall pay as wages of the [...] five gerahs, as wages of the potter five gerahs, of a tailor five gerahs, of [...] gerahs, [...] of a ropemaker four gerahs, of [...] gerahs, of a mason [...] gerahs per day.
273. gerah:出エジプト記30章
13 すべて数に入る者は聖所のシケルで、半シケルを払わなければならない。一シケルは二十ゲラであって、おのおの半シケルを主にささげ物としなければならない。
ハーパー版では SEという単位をそのまま書いている。キング版の gerahs は、これを聖書の記述に置き換えた読者サービスだったようだ。
